OUR STORY

We, the Penner family, placed our first strawberry plants in the ground in Lethbridge, Newfoundland, in 2021, and grew them under the name Bayview Gardens, owned by Jakob Penner. He together with his sons, Jonathan and Jeremy, worked hard to get the field established, productive, and as beautiful as it is today.

 In the spring of 2024, the berry field sprouted off the greenhouse business and emerged as Spruce Glade Farm, run by Jeremy and Adrianne Penner.

We have many dreams for Spruce Glade's future and are excited to offer an authentic farm experience that suits your family as well as ours! We are easy to get to for locals as well as anyone driving across the island or up the scenic Bonavista Peninsula.
